(LifeSiteNews) — Microsoft founder and vaccine financier Bill Gates, who has repeatedly pushed for universal vaccination, said last week that natural infection with the coronavirus works as “a type of vaccine,” and that naturally acquired immunity has functioned better than vaccinated immunity.

During the Munich Security Conference on Friday, the radically pro-abortion philanthropist and billionaire software developer said, “Sadly, the virus itself — particularly the variant omicron — is a type of vaccine.”

“That is, it creates both B cell and T cell immunity,” Gates said, adding that natural infection has “done a better job of getting out to the world population than we have with vaccines.”

The admission comes as opponents of universal vaccination using experimental COVID-19 drugs have long called for a recognition of the durability of natural immunity.

Since the beginning of the pandemic dozens of studies have shown that vaccination is unnecessary if a person has already recovered from the virus, which poses an extremely mild risk to the vast majority of people.

Last year, eminent doctor Peter McCullough, M.D., argued that “[for] people under 50 who fundamentally have no health risks, there’s no scientific rationale for them to ever become vaccinated” against COVID-19.

Meanwhile many media pundits and public health officials who have advocated for stringent COVID jab mandates, universal masking, and lockdown measures throughout the pandemic, have begun to pivot in recent days and weeks as evidence continues to emerge that the liberty-crushing COVID measures have failed to stop transmission of the virus.
