NEW YORK, June 27, 2005 (LifeSiteNews.com) – Former US President Bill Clinton along with his wife, Senator Hillary Clinton, appeared on stage with Billy Graham in a thinly veiled attempt to shamelessly portray themselves as “born again” Christians, at Graham’s final American revival in New York Saturday.

Analysts have suggested Hillary as a likely Democratic presidential nominee for 2008. Her effort to soften her image as a radically pro-abortion feminist may be another leading indication of her aspiration to be ruler of the free world.

The AP reported that Graham, 86 and in frail health, referred to the Clintons as “wonderful friends,” joking that the former president should consider becoming an evangelist and let “his wife to run the country.” The former president spoke briefly before Graham delivered a short sermon.

In his sermon, Graham told the 80,000 people gathered in Queen’s, “The decisions you make tonight will affect your whole future and your eternal future,” before inviting those in attendance to an altar call.
