TORONTO, April 13, 2004 (LifeSiteNews.com) – The Toronto Blue Jays baseball team will celebrate homosexuality on June 25—Gay Community Day—at the Jays stadium, the SkyDome. The Blue Jays will host the Montreal Expos at that game.  Team president Paul Godfrey told the Montreal Gazette that acknowledgement of Toronto’s homosexual community was long “overdue.” He wanted to ensure that the public did not construe the team’s silence on the issue as homophobic.
