SAO PAULO, Brazil, Sept 29 (LSN) – On Monday an appeals court in Brazil rejected the plea of the Catholic Church and pro-lifers to save the baby of a 10 year-old girl whose parents have insisted on an abortion for their daughter. The girl was reportedly raped by two men who are now in custody. The Church intervened in the case and offered to provide for the child should the girl choose to carry her baby to term.
