WASHINGTON, D.C., January 27, 2017 (LifeSiteNews) – President Donald Trump reiterated his support for the March for Life in tweets this morning as hundreds of thousands of pro-life activists gathered on the National Mall.
“The #MarchForLife is so important. To all of you marching — you have my full support!” he wrote.

He also sent out a second tweet promoting Vice President Mike Pence's speech at the March.
“Mike Pence will be speaking at today's #MarchForLife — You have our full support!” he wrote.

This year Trump has repeatedly promoted the March in high profile venues in the days leading up to it.
On Wednesday night, he lambasted the media's poor coverage of the annual pro-life event in an ABC interview, noting they give far more attention to smaller rallies.
Then on Thursday he repeated the message in his talk at the GOP retreat in Philadelphia.
“They’ll have three hundred, four hundred, five hundred, six hundred thousand people. You won’t even read about it,” he said. “When other people show up, you read big time about it. Right? So, it’s not fair. But there is nothing fair about the media. Nothing.”

Trump will send remarks to the March for Life today, but will not “call in” as originally reported by some news outlets.
Trump's campaign manager, and now Counselor to the President, Kellyanne Conway, will speak at the rally.
All told it amounts to unprecedented turnout at a March by a presidential administration.
Jeanne Mancini, president of the March for Life Education and Defense Fund, told LifeSiteNews Thursday she is “delighted” by Trump's support.
“We are just delighted so far with what we have seen, in less than a week, from the Trump administration,” she said. “We saw the Mexico City Policy reinstated. They have mentioned the March for Life in press briefings and in interviews all week long. We have never seen anything like this in our entire life.”
