WASHINGTON, D.C., July 26, 2017 (LifeSiteNews) – The U.S. military will no longer accept "transgender" individuals, President Trump tweeted this morning, because of the "tremendous medical costs and disruption" it causes.

President Obama imposed a "transgender-inclusive" decree on the military allowing them to openly serve. The Army recently released guidelines preparing women to shower with men as part of "transgender" training.

It seems that the co-ed showers, and a conservative Republican effort to stop government-funded "sex change" surgeries for military personnel, will cease thanks to Trump's new order.

Earlier this month, 24 Republicans joined forces with Democrats and voted for U.S. taxpayers to continue funding "sex-change" operations for gender-confused soldiers.

The problem of sexual assault and rape in the military has received increasing media attention over the past few years. In May 2017, the Pentagon announced that 2016 sexual assault reports were at a record high. At least one study says women in the military are more likely to be raped by a fellow soldier than killed by enemy fire.
