LONDON, Dec 20, 2000 (LSN.ca) – Last night British MPs voted 366 to 174 to approve a bill allowing cloning of human embryos for experimentation leading to their destruction. Prime Minister Tony Blair was among those voting in favour of the legislation. The bill will now move to the House of Lords, where pro-life and church groups hope it will be stopped.
