WASHINGTON, April 30, 2002 (LSN.ca) – In his proclamation for the US National Day of Prayer Friday, President George W. Bush noted the sanctity of human life.

In a proclamation overflowing with references to God, a taboo on the Canadian political scene, Bush included a line sure to endear his pro-life supporters. “We offer thanks for the countless blessings God has provided. And we thank God for sanctifying every human life by creating each of us in His image,” he said.
