SACRAMENTO, California (LifeSiteNews) — A Democratic state senator has introduced legislation to allow children to get jabbed without their parent’s knowledge or consent.

Senator Scott Wiener argued that, since kids can already get birth control and abortions without their parent’s permission, this legislation fits in with the state’s approach to health care.

SB 866 would “authorize a minor 12 years of age or older to consent to vaccines that meet specified federal agency criteria.”

“California law already allows 12-17 year olds to access various forms of healthcare without parental consent, eg: HPV & hep B vaccines, abortion care, birth control, mental healthcare, domestic violence-related care,” Wiener wrote on Twitter.

“SB 866 builds on this existing law to expand vaccine access.”

The state senator blamed the so-called “unvaxxed” for putting other people at risk from COVID-19.

“Unvaccinated teens are at risk, put others at risk & make schools less safe,” Wiener claimed.

COVID has never been proven to be a serious concern for the vast majority of minors, and leading doctors and researchers like Dr. Peter McCullough and Dr. Paul Elias Alexander have said the COVID jabs do not benefit them and can even be harmful.

[For] people under 50 who fundamentally have no health risks, there’s no scientific rationale for them to ever become vaccinated,” Dr. Peter McCullough said

Children aged 0 to 17 represent 0.1 percent of all COVID deaths, according to data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. However, incidences of myocarditis, heart inflammation, in young men has led many countries to discourage the use of some of the vaccines in children. France’s Health Authority has advised against the Moderna vaccine in anyone under 30.  Sweden and Denmark have also had second thoughts about the use of Moderna in the young. Last April, Israeli researchers discovered that the Pfizer vaccine had led to 62 cases of myocarditis, the majority in  men under 30

Wiener’s support for protecting children is not absolute, however, as he championed legislation in 2020 that softened penalties for homosexual sex offenders who rape minors.

He’s also not an absolute supporter of minors being able to access healthcare services – while he wants 13-year-old girls to be able to get jabbed and abortions, he does not want minors who struggle with same-sex attractions to have access to Christian counseling services.
