UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif., Aug 10 (LSN) – California State University sponsored the World Pornography Conference which took place over the weekend in California. The conference touted itself as a guardian of free speech.  Nadine Strossen, the first woman president of the American Civil Liberties Union, gave a keynote address at the pornographers gathering. “I want to underscore how extremely essential your efforts are… I want to thank and applaud you for your fight and contribution for First Amendment freedom… when we defend sexual expression, we really are making a stand not only against a specific kind of censorship … but (are defending) human rights in general,” she said.  The daughter of Hustler magazine publisher Larry Flynt said the peddlers of pornography were “exploiting the First Amendment.” Tonya Flynt-Vega who has revealed that her father’s obsession with pornography led him to sexually abuse her as a child said, “My father didn’t give a damn about the First Amendment. He’s not a First Amendment freedom fighter. None of this has anything to do with the First Amendment.”
