OTTAWA, Feb 10 (Lifesitenews.com)  The Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRITIC)  has for decades discriminated against religious broadcasting, disallowing the existence of single-faith stations. Last year, however, a major victory was won with the approval of the Crossroads Channel – a Christian station closely associated with the company which produces the popular 100 Huntley Street program. Unfortunately Crossroads has only been available in Southern Ontario.

Crossroads has applied to be on the list of “Eligible Satellite Services”, and if this application is approved, any cable company throughout Canada could broadcast the Crossroads channel. The Canada Family Action Coalition has requested that individuals e-mail a short note to [email protected], addressed “Dear Secretary-General,” supporting the Crossroads application for satellite access. The deadline for submissions is this Friday, February 12.

Your note must include the following: “In reference to application 1998-08648, Crossroads Television System, Eligible Satellite Service.” and indicate that you SUPPORT the application.
