The Netherlands has escalated its headlong plunge down the slippery slope towards total disrespect for all human life. It has become the only nation in the world to legalize euthanasia.
“Will this tiny country, which was so tenacious in protecting the potential victims of the holocaust, lead other nations to destroy human life?” asked Jim Hughes, National President of Campaign Life Coalition on hearing the news. “Human beings who are suffering will not be given compassionate pain relief nor palliative care but will be put out of their misery like wounded animals”, he continued.
“The measure of the civility of any nation and the ability it has to survive depends directly on its care of the most vulnerable citizens. Campaign Life Coalition joins with all organizations and individuals who denounce euthanasia; the deliberate and callous destruction of human life.”“We insist that the government ensure proper palliative care and pain management to those who suffer and provide total protection in law of the elderly and the disabled.”
