NEW YORK, June 5 (LifeSiteNews.com) – Dr. Hedy Fry, Canada’s secretary of state for multiculturalism and the status of women, is the head of Canada’s delegation to the United Nations Beijing +5 meeting which commences today.  Fry, confirmed in an interview with the National Post published today that Canada will be lesbian rights at the United Nations.  The revelations have confirmed what Campaign Life Coalition has said for years with regard to the Canadian involvement at the UN meetings.

The Post reports that “Canada will use its negotiating clout as the chair of a committee representing Japan, the U.S., and several non-EU European countries, to incorporate as much ‘progressive’ language as possible into the declaration.” “Canada will seek an end to discrimination against lesbians around the world and will push for a formal recognition of women’s sexual rights,” says the Post.  Fry promised to fight suggestions by Roman Catholic and Islamic countries that would seek to rid the document of the push for abortion and homosexuality.  “We will not support any regression from Beijing. That was hard won and hard negotiated and   people who didn’t like it are now coming back and trying to change it after the fact,” said Fry.

In the interview Fry revealed that “Canada is often responsible for more than 50% of the language in UN declarations”. Canadian delegations are often viewed by other delegates as being the most aggressive in forcing upon nations abortion, homosexuality and many other elements of extreme   feminism. Canadian pro-lifers involved in UN lobbying have desperately tried to alert Canadians about this for some time but have frequently met with disbelief or lack of appreciation for the seriousness of the situation.
