Jan. 4 (LifeSiteNews.com) – The Internet home page for the leading homosexual advocacy organization, EGALE (Equality for Gays and Lesbians Everywhere), is currently devoted to a plea to homosexuals to write to the CRTC, asking them to give Toronto’s last FM station to a group that wants to make it the “first gay radio station in Canada.”

According to the announcement, the CRTC has received 17 applications for this spot – 93.5 –  on the FM radio dial. CKMW RADIO LTD is the company that wants to make it an exclusively homosexual station – “Rainbow Radio.”

People have until January 10 to contact the CRTC to voice their support for, or opposition to, any of the applications. Comments should be directed to the Secretary General of the CRTC and must include the “CRTC REF # 1999-11631.”

LifeSite has learned that another applicant for the FM spot is Andy McNabb who wants to make it a Christian music station, so while you are contacting the CRTC, you may also want to recommend that they support his application. At this point we have been unable to get his CRTC REF #. You can find out more about his application at: www.torontochristianradio.com or by calling (416) 410-6899.
