(LifeSiteNews) – Despite mask mandates being lifted across the country, chief public health officer Theresa Tam wants Canadians to stay masked as a “resurgence” of COVID is reportedly on the horizon.

“I think the bottom line is everybody, right now, I think, should still wear the mask and keep those layers of measures no matter where you are in this country, because even if you don’t see a resurgence now, you’re probably going to in the next days, weeks,” Tam told the public in a press conference on Friday.

“That will help reduce transmission [and] make sure that the impact on the health system is lowered, and please, go get that booster,” added the doctor.

Tam also mentioned that even if one has been infected with the highly survivable COVID-19 virus, they should still receive their “booster” dose, despite evidence that post-infection natural immunity is far superior to vaccine-induced protection.

Tam’s stance that masking reduces transmission of the coronavirus is at odds with 47 studies confirming the ineffectiveness of masks and an additional 32 studies that found masking actually negatively impacts health.

Moreover, according to renowned doctor Peter McCullough, M.D, “People who develop COVID have complete and durable immunity. And (that’s) a very important principle: complete and durable.  You can’t beat natural immunity. You can’t vaccinate on top of it and make it better. There’s no scientific, clinical or safety rationale for ever vaccinating a COVID-recovered patient. There’s no rationale for ever testing a COVID-recovered patient.”

The push to vaccinate the majority of the world’s population in order to prevent serious disease for those who are not at risk to begin with – the CDC reports an infection survival rate of greater than 99.95% for those under age 50 — adds to the skepticism surrounding the increased push for COVID booster shots. Meanwhile, the list of FDA-recognized adverse events has grown from severe anaphylactic reactions to include fatal thrombotic events, the inflammatory heart condition myocarditis, and neurologically disabling disease Guillain Barré Syndrome, as well as thousands of recorded deaths and permanent disabilities.

As of March 2022, the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System, co-run by the CDC and FDA, reports over 26,000 deaths linked to the COVID-19 vaccines, and nearly 50,000 permanent disabilities, which is more than for all other vaccines combined since 1990.
