OTTAWA, February 26, 2003 (LifeSiteNews.com) – The Assisted Human Reproduction Act, Bill C-13, is due to be debated in the House of Commons again on Thursday beginning at 10:15 am.  Report stage debate could end tomorrow, wrapping up debates on group 6 amendments as well as those in group 2 which are supported by the pro-life movement.  Political experts suggest that the report stage votes on the amendments will not be held until the first Tuesday after the parliamentary break which would be March 18.  After that third reading and final vote on the bill could occur as early as the March 19.
