CORNWALL, ON, August 29, 2003 (LifeSiteNews.com) – Bishop Paul-Andre Durocher of Alexandria-Cornwall diocese in Ontario has said that a parishioner who underwent a homosexual ‘marriage’ will not be permitted to receive communion.  Although the bishop told the media he would not comment on individual cases, he did say that he was aware of the situation and that while the person in question could not receive communion, he or she would not necessarily be expelled from the church.  All parishes in the diocese will hear a homily this weekend on the marriage issue.  The homily to be read is from Archbishop Anthony Meagher, bishop of Kingston diocese.  See local coverage:  https://www.standard-freeholder.com/webapp/sitepages/content.asp?contentid=41785&catname=Front+Page
