OTTAWA, April 30, 2004 ( – With the Canadian National March for Life a mere two weeks away, the Canadian Organization for Life and Family (COLF), an arm of the Canadian Catholic Conference of Bishops and the Knights of Columbus, has encouraged participation in the March.  The official March for Life page on notes events surrounding the March commencing on the evening of May 12 with a Mass and Candlelight vigil and ending May 14, the day after the March with a pro-life youth conference.  Calling Canadians both to the March and pro-life action, the Bishops’ message says, “It is important to march for life, to publicly declare that life is sacred and that it must be defended at every stage of development and in all its dimensions.
