OTTAWA, April 3, 2003 (LifeSiteNews.com) – The Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops has published a list of “Resources on Marriage” on its website in order to assist faithful in defending marriage from redefinition by homosexual activists.  Included among the resources are four Backgrounders on Marriage which have just been released by The Catholic Organization for Life and Family (COLF).  1 – Catholic Teaching and Public Statements on Marriage;  2 – The Law on Marriage in Canada;  3 – Recent Statistics About Marriage and other Unions; and 4 – Frequently asked questions about granting same-sex partners the legal right to marry. COLF has also produced suggested elements for a possible letter on marriage to the Minister of Justice or a Member of Parliament. These documents will be helpful to those wishing to respond to the Minister of Justice’s invitation to participate in the current public debate on marriage.  See the CCCB website at:  https://www.cccb.ca/MediaReleases.htm?CD=366&ID=1342
