OTTAWA, Jan 19 (LifeSiteNews) – Last Friday the Canadian Labour Congress launched a campaign to raise awareness in the workplace of “gay and lesbian rights.” The Congress is the national voice of the labour movement, but claims to speak for “all workers and their families, in Canada and beyond.”  Millions of unionized workers are forced to contribute to the Congress through their union dues including many who are diametrically opposed to the anti-family initiatives the Congress espouses.

Among the campaign’s materials is a poster with the pictures of seven men and women and sporting the headline: “We’ll give you a $3 bill if you can spot who is gay in this picture.”  The Congress Secretary-Treasurer, Nancy Riche, equated racism and sexism with “homophobia”.
