Rally Tomorrow in Kitchener, Ontario Local Liberal MPs Andrew Telegdi (Kitchener Waterloo), Karen Redman (Kitchener-Centre) and Lynn Myers (Kitchener-Conestoga), have all said they intend to support Bill C-38. Roy Hamel, an ordained minister and Guelph resident, said, “We want people in that area to bombard those MPs and tell them, ask them respectfully, to vote for traditional marriage”. If the legislation passes, Hamel said the group hopes to mobilize enough Waterloo Region voters to unseat the MPs during the next federal election. Speakers at the rally will be Rev. Tristan Emmanuel of Equipping Christians for the Public Square, Jakki Jeffs of Ontario Alliance for Life and Saskatchewan MP Maurice Vellacott. The rally takes Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at the Columbus Centre, 110 Manitou Dr., in Kitchener. Admission is free, but a free-will donation will be accepted. For more information, call Hamel at 519-836-3151.

Liberals Stack Committee to Help Push Along Gay Marriage Bill Every single one of a powerful block of six Liberals sitting on the committee scrutinizing the bill has stated their support for same-sex marriage reports a March 9 Canadian Press story. “The odds are about as stacked as they could be,” said Ontario Liberal MP Pat O’Brien, a vocal opponent of the legislation. The 13-member committee has nine MPs – including two from the Bloc Quebecois and one New Democrat – who support redefining marriage, and four Conservatives who oppose it.  Yahoo reports a gay-rights website tracking MPs’ public statements (www.marriagevote.ca) says 164 of the 308 MPs have expressed their support, 134 their opposition and nine are listed as undecided.  (news.yahoo.com)

The Radical Homosexual Agenda and the Destruction of Standards The BGLTSA, as a wing of the radical homosexual movement, is looking to broaden the definition of normality to include deviant behavior. Now, ignoring homosexuality is no longer allowable; we must instead champion it, equating it with heterosexuality. In fact, homosexuality must be prized over heterosexuality. (townhall.com)

Three out of Four PEI MPs Will Vote for Same-Sex Marriage The CBC reported on March 8 that Charlottetown MP Shawn Murphy has come off the fence and will support federal same-sex marriage legislation along with Malpeque MP Wayne Easter and Egmont MP Joe McGuire. Cardigan MP Lawrence MacAulay is only one of the four who says he will oppose the bill. Murphy and Easter are giving the thoroughly discredited concept that the bill allows churches to refuse to perform same-sex marriages as a key point for their support.
