OTTAWA, Jan 26 (LifeSiteNews) – A Canada-wide arrest warrant was issued Monday by the Ontario Provincial Police against James Kopp who has been charged with the 1995 non-fatal shooting of Ontario abortionist Hugh Short.  Kopp was charged with murder by US authorities last year in the death of abortionist Barnett Slepian and was placed on the FBI’s ten most wanted list.  The OPP claim that evidence points to Kopp as the guilty party in their case but they are refusing to reveal the nature of their evidence.

The National Post reported yesterday that public and private rewards for information leading to Kopp’s arrest total over $500,000. Despite the as yet secret “evidence” supposedly linking Kopp to the shootings, US pro-lifers who were well acquainted with Kopp don’t believe he is guilty.
