(LifeSiteNews) – Some schools in the Canadian province of Alberta have been teaching kids government COVID propaganda in the form of a classroom workbook calling the “fourth wave” the “Pandemic of the Unvaccinated” and blaming the un-jabbed for “collapsing” the healthcare system.
According to a Western Standard report, a new COVID-themed booklet called Riding The Fourth Wave is being used in some Alberta schools. The booklet includes lessons and activities for elementary and middle school kids touting COVID vaccinations as “safe” and how one should be “socially responsible” in the pandemic.
The book contains sections called “Pandemic of the Unvaccinated,” “How Vaccines Work,” and “Protests and Controversy.”
It also includes a section called “An Unusual Passport,” which talks about vaccine passports being used by every provincial government in Alberta at the moment.
Under the section “Pandemic of the Unvaccinated,” the booklet claims that despite Canada having one of the highest vaccination rates in the world, “millions here still aren’t immunized.”
“And they are 12 times more likely to get COVID-19 than those who have had two vaccine doses,” the booklet claims.
The booklet then says that those “unimmunized” are 34 times more likely to be hospitalized for COVID and that they are the ones who are “overwhelming some healthcare systems.”
The booklet suggests that the healthcare system is “collapsing in front of our eyes” due to the “unimmunized.”
“Unvaccinated COVID-19 patients are overwhelming the healthcare system,” a section of the booklet reads.
The booklet then quotes a doctor who says, “They seem to value freedom without any sense of social responsibility.”
The claim of a collapsing healthcare system has been challenged by some Alberta doctors opposed to jab mandates.
The workbook includes an activity for kids to spell out the “Pros” and “Cons” of vaccine passports.
The workbook then includes a section called “Science” and “Fiction” with links to reports kids can use to spot COVID “misinformation.”
The workbook reads, “Find out more about the false and dangerous misinformation spreading online that COVID-19 can be treated with substances like bleach and horse de-wormer.”
Alberta doctor says claim of collapsing healthcare system misinformation
Dr. Gary Davidson, who works as an emergency doctor in Red Deer, recently said the hospital capacity crisis in his province was “created,” is not a new phenomenon, and is not from COVID-19 patients.
“We have a crisis, and we have a crisis because we have no staff, because our staff quit, because they’re burned out, they’re not burnt out from COVID,” Davidson said.
Riding The Fourth Wave claims that vaccine passports are being used as an “incentive” to get the jabs.
Davidson said the healthcare crisis in Alberta started about six years ago under then-NDP Premier Rachel Notley.
“So, about six years ago, we had a government come in and about two years into their mandate they started cutting positions in our department,” Davidson said.
Parents ‘furious’ with booklet
A parent with a child in a Calgary school, as reported the Western Standard, said she is “furious” over the assignments in the booklets and that she realizes the workbook is “brainwashing our kids.”
She said that when she asked the school about the COVID workbook, they claimed it was “was their normal curriculum and they always have these types of assignments.”
Another mother, according to the Western Standard report, said her child knows “where we stand on the vaccine” and then brought home the workbook to show his mom.
“The article was very concerning, propaganda-driven and not suitable for elementary kids. No information was included about the long-term studies on the vaccine and the side effects,” the mom said.
The mom then said she has seen the COVID jab side effects in “two family members” yet the workbook makes it look like the jabs are “simple and safe.”
LifeSiteNews reached out to the office of Alberta’s Education Minister Adriana LaGrange to ask her about the COVID workbook, its apparent one-sidedness, and why it is being used in Alberta’s schools.
As of publication time, there had been no reply.
According to the Western Standard, the Calgary Board of Education told them in a statement that some teachers in their schools may “provide information to students and have discussions in class on current events and topics occurring in their community.”
Workbook fails to mention bad side effects from jab noted by Alberta doctors
The workbook does not mention the fact that many in healthcare in Alberta, including doctors and nurses, have spoken out against the bad reactions they have seen people have from the COVID jabs.
This past Sunday, around 2,000 people gathered in silent protest against COVID jab mandates in Edmonton at a rally preceded by testimony from doctors who spoke about the ill effects they have witnessed from the injections.
Alberta Dr. Chris Gordillo spoke at the rally, saying he has seen “many people injured by vaccines.”
“It is really sad, you see these people there they come, visit you regularly and they’re just doing their duty for the government, you know, and they’re just following orders and they come in and they get injured and it’s sad,” Gordillo said.
Joining the other speakers was Dr. Daniel Nagase, who was recently blacklisted by Alberta Health Services for treating his COVID patients with ivermectin.
“But coronavirus is a particle, and it can go through the bars, so lockdowns do not work on coronaviruses. Maybe, Premier Kenney and Hinshaw should go to prison for a while. Spend some time in a cell, locked down, and then maybe they’ll understand that lockdowns can’t stop a coronavirus,” Nagase said at the Sunday rally in Edmonton.
Nagase told LifeSiteNews it “shocked” him at how his COVID patients were being treated in an Alberta hospital when he was there trying to treat them with ivermectin.
He also recently spoke out about the countless COVID jab side effects she has witnessed firsthand.
Along with Gordillo, the other speakers all spoke out against COVID jab mandates and blasted a recent deal by the federal government signed with Pfizer for 2.9 million doses of the COVID shot for kids ages 5 to 11.
The COVID jab trials have never produced evidence that vaccines stop infection or transmission. They do not even claim to reduce hospitalization, but the measurement of success is in preventing severe symptoms of COVID-19.
Dr. Peter McCullough, M.D., an eminent internist and cardiologist, recently affirmed that against COVID-19, “[For] people under 50 who fundamentally have no health risks, there’s no scientific rationale for them to ever become vaccinated.”
The COVID-19 injections approved for emergency use in Canada, including the Pfizer jab for ages 12 and up, all have connections to cells derived from aborted babies.
All four have also been associated with severe side effects such as blood clots, rashes, miscarriages, and even heart attacks in young, healthy men.
