SAN DIEGO, California, May 25, 2018 (LifeSiteNews) – Catholics and all people of faith are invited to join Cardinal Raymond Burke, Dr. Gianna Emanuela Molla (daughter of St. Gianna), and other world-renowned speakers at an event this coming November in defense of the sacrament of marriage and the Catholic family.
The “Catholic Action Summit 2018” will highlight the role and true nature of the family, and also provide insight and practical tips for the great battle waging for true marriage and the family.
Sister Lucia dos Santos of Fatima aptly predicted that “The final battle between the Lord and the kingdom of Satan will be about marriage and the family.”
Serving as an image of God’s love for His Church and living model for submitting to His will, the family’s role as the domestic Church makes it the object of attack by malevolent forces today, in the form of radical anti-life and family ideologies. The family is also the first place in which the faith is taught, which underscores all the more the importance of its protection and defense.
Cardinal Burke is one of the Catholic Church’s foremost voices in defending Catholic teaching on marriage and the family.
With the theme Marriage: The Cradle of the Family, the summit is presented by Catholic Action for Faith and Family, the Catholic lay apostolate is behind the Operation Storm Heaven Rosary crusade.
The event runs from Friday, November 2 to Sunday, November 4 in Dallas, TX.
It will feature a solemn high pontifical Mass celebrated by His Eminence Cardinal Burke, the miraculous pilgrim Virgin statue of Fatima, First Saturday devotion to Our Lady, Saturday and Sunday Confessions, and a banquet luncheon.
