Let’s be frank. Fundraising on Facebook is notoriously difficult. Heck, it’s almost impossible. Somehow fundraising requests just get…lost…in between those cute cat videos, and the pictures of your friend’s super-exotic vacation that you’re totally jealous of.
But the problem is that running LifeSiteNews (we run the We Can End Abortion Page) isn’t free. We’ve got professional journalists, editors, and technical staff to pay…like me. (And though we eat, sleep and breathe pro-life news, somehow it’s just no substitute for…you know…food.)
But here’s the thing. Our Facebook users (i.e. you guys) are some of the biggest consumers of the stuff we produce (pro-life and pro-family news). And so we’ve decided to ask you to go the extra mile and open your wallets as well as your walls.
The thing is, friends don’t let friends read the mainstream media, and we are (quite literally according to Alexa.com) the #1 pro-life website on the whole internet.
