(LifeSiteNews) — On this week’s episode of The Bishop Strickland Show, Bishop Joseph Strickland passionately defended the Catholic faith against backsliding into error.

His Excellency said this growth of error is hardly a new phenomenon in the history of the Church. He cited a new book he recently read titled Revolt Against Reality, written by Gary Michuta, noting the title of the book is an apt phrase for our contemporary situation.

“We’ve got to believe in the truth that Jesus Christ has shared,” said Bishop Strickland. “This agenda of the sexual teachings of the Church, they’re all wrong, and they need to be revised, and they aren’t set in stone — reality is already starting to fight back. As I’ve said so many times on this show, or talking to the people in the diocese, truth is what lasts.”
