DOCTOR UNDER INVESTIGATION FOR ABORTING PAST-DUE FETUS

OKLAHOMA CITY, February 12, 2003 (LifeSiteNews.com) – A doctor in Oklahoma City is under investigation by the state Medical Licensure Board, Medical Examiner’s Office, city police and a number of other state agencies in the death of an unborn baby six weeks past the state’s legal limit.  The State of Oklahoma’s definition of a viable fetus as one that is at least 24 weeks gestation. KENTUCKY SENATE PASSES FETAL HOMICIDE BILL

FRANKFORT, February 12, 2003 (LifeSiteNews.com) – A bill that makes “fetal homicide” a crime passed the state Senate yesterday by a vote of 34-3.  Sponsored by Republican Sen. Richard Roeding, the bill empowers the state to prosecute someone who causes a stillbirth or miscarriage during an attack on a pregnant woman.
