WOMEN CONDEMN UGANDA’S CONDOM-PUSHING AIDS POLICY

UGANDA, Aug 26 (LSN) – Uganda’s condom-pushing AIDS program is a “time bomb leading to utter destruction,”  charges the Mothers Union of Uganda, which condemns the so-called “safe sex” message being advocated by the government initiative. American Life League yesterday reported on the group’s opposition to the program. Union spokesman Mary Kasule said that young people are “torn between what the church teaches and what they see on television” and said that AIDS would continue to ravage the country unless teens practiced abstinence until marriage.

SMOKING IS CANCER THREAT TO UNBORN CHILDREN

MINNESOTA, Aug 26 (LSN) – The Sydney Morning Herald reported yesterday on a University of Minnesota study which has shown that babies in utero are exposed to powerful cancer-causing chemicals when their mothers smoke, increasing the children’s likelihood of developing cancer. The Australian Medical Association (AMA)  has commenced a renewed effort to encourage mothers to quit smoking at least during pregnancy. FLAUNTING TOPLESSNESS LEADS TO ASSAULT CHARGE

REGINA, SASK, Aug 26 (LSN) – Evangeline Godron, 64, who in July won a court case allowing her to go topless in public, was charged Tuesday with assault following her refusal to leave a public pool when asked by the manager and police. Regina police Sgt. CAMEROON, Aug 25 (LSN) – A recent study which found that the spermicide nonoxynol-9 fails to provide “protection” against sexually transmitted diseases, including AIDS, used as subjects for the experiment poor African women. CHICAGO, Aug 25 (LSN) – One of the most gruesome procedures used in treating blindness today is the use of eye tissue from aborted babies. FEW NATIONS BOYCOTT EUGENICS CONFERENCE HELD IN CHINA
