AZUSA, California, Sept 4 (LSN) – The Christian Science Monitor reported yesterday on a small southern California city which passed a resolution demanding that Charter Communications, one of the nation’s largest cable companies, omit x-rated programming from the local programming package offered to city residents. The move represents the first such challenge to a cable company. WASHINGTON, Sept 4 (LSN) – Pro-life Americans are being urged to contact their senators to stress the importance of their support for a bill intended to ensure state laws requiring parental notification of abortions are upheld. The bill, sponsored by Sen. Spencer Abraham, R-Mich., would make it illegal for non-custodians to take pregnant girls to out-of-state abortuaries to avoid the notification requirement. The measure is expected to be debated next week.

The blasphemous marketing tool shows Pope John Paul II looking at the magazine with Castro and has the caption: “For the Love of Christ, Subscribe Today!” On the pope’s clothing is a yellow sticker that reads: “I saved 44%”; the word “Hustler” appears below it. OTTAWA, Sept 2 (LSN) – CBC news reported today that the Canadian army will pay for a soldier to have a sex-change. Explaining the decision of the Canadian Forces, Defence Minister Art Eggleton said that most provincial health plans also cover sex change operations for civilian citizens.

BOSTON, Sept 2 (LSN) – Yesterday a judge refused to dismiss a lawsuit by Deborah Gaines, who is suing the Preterm abortuary in Brookline for “wrongful birth.” Four years ago Gaines went to the abortuary and ran out of it when John Salvi III began shooting in the lobby. Gaines claims that the event traumatized her so much that she was unable to enter another abortion mill to have her child aborted.
