The web site features hard-to-find articles and legal decisions surrounding the life of Henry Morgentaler.  “Most of the news clippings out there continue to promote the fallacy that Morgentaler is a saint…yet once-upon-a-time the media were fair and accurate in dealing with his career, and a number of well-researched articles were printed. We feature those once again,” said Gerk.

TUPELO, Mississippi, Aug 14 (LSN) – The American Family Association alerted pro-family groups Wednesday to the proposed re-showing of “Lolita” a film glorifying pedophilia. The film, already aired by SHOWTIME cable company is scheduled to be aired again on August 19 and once again on August 29. “The movie portrays the 12-year-old Lolita as a young seductress who was not only willing but sexually aggressive,  while making the true perpetrator into a passive and sympathetic victim of her advances,” explains the AFA alert. WASHINGTON, Aug 13 (LSN) – The Halifax Daily News reported Sunday on new research which reveals that,  contrary to popular belief, marriage increases happiness, life span, physical and emotional health and wealth for both men and women. University of Chicago professor of sociology Dr. Linda J. TORONTO, Aug 12 (LSN) – In their August newsletter, Campaign Life Coalition reported on the move by three Catholic bishops and hundreds of Catholic faithful to ask Canada’s bishops for a new endorsement of the 1968 birth-control encyclical Humanae Vitae (on human life). In the document the Church forbade abortion, contraception and sterilization. TORONTO, Aug 13 (LSN) – The Canadian Family Action Coalition (CFAC) has asked for a boycott of Paramount Canada’s Wonderland and all Paramount products in response to the theme park’s promotion of homosexuality. CFAC National Affairs Director Peter Stock debated Bruce Mackensie, public affairs director for Wonderland on radio. LISBON, Portugal, Aug 13 (LSN) – The World Conference of Ministers Responsible for Youth concluded yesterday with the adoption of the Lisbon Declaration on Youth Policies and Programmes despite the objections of several pro-life countries to the anti-family language in the document. TORONTO, Aug 12 (LSN) – A study in the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) released today says “The high number of cases of chlamydia found among adolescent girls has prompted health experts to recommend screening all sexually active adolescent girls for chlamydia infection every six months.”  Gale R. Burstein, M.D., M.P.H., of Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore warned that the disease is hard to detect since it has few if any symptoms but if untreated it can cause pelvic inflammatory disease, infertility and ectopic pregnancies.
