TORONTO, Nov 4 (LifeSiteNews.com) – An official Scout group in Toronto has been set for “gay and lesbian” youth. The Associated Press reports that the group is a Rovers troop open to people aged 18-26. LONDON, England, Nov 3 (LifeSiteNews.com) – Last week the Cambridge University alumni magazine “Cam”  contained an advertisement seeking to have University graduates donate “genetically superior”  ova for fertility treatment. Catholic World News reports today that a proposed ban on partial-birth abortions was not approved by Maine voters in a state referendum on Tuesday. The media allowed pro-abortion ads but refused pro-life ads. KANSAS CITY, Nov 2 (LifeSiteNews.com) – A randomized, controlled study published in the current issue of the American Medical Association’s Archives of Internal Medicine shows empirically that “intercessory prayer produced a measurable improvement in the medical outcomes of critically ill patients.” Overall the study found that patients who were prayed for had 11% less complications than those who were not prayed for.  The study involved 990 patients admitted to the Coronary Care Unit at the Mid America Heart Institute (MAHI), Kansas City, Mo.
