NURSES FIRED FOR OPPOSITION TO ABORTION ALLOWED TO GO TO COURT
ALBANY, N.Y., Aug 4 (LSN) – Nurses Deborah Larson and Christine Thornton who were fired from Albany Medical Center for refusing to assist in abortions were allowed to take their civil suit against the hospital to court. Although a state Supreme Court justice refused their case last July, a state Appellate Division court ruled unanimously last Thursday that the nurses’ case should be allowed to go to trial.
