FEDERAL PARTIES TAKE PART IN GAY FUND-RAISER

OTTAWA, May 28 (LSN) – Representatives from various federal political parties took part in a Parliament Hill fundraiser April 28 for the gay-activist group Equality for Gays and Lesbians Everywhere (EGALE).  Ottawa’s pro-gay Capital Xtra newspaper reported last Wednesday on the event.  Secretary of State for Multiculturalism and the Status of Women Hedy Fry turned up to demonstrate the support of the Liberal government. WASHINGTON, May 27 (Lifesitenews.com) – Yesterday the US Supreme Court rejected the appeal of a South Carolina law which affords children in the womb protection from substance abuse by their mothers. CALIFORNIA GROUP SELLING MAIL-ORDER EMBRYOS

SYDNEY, Australia, May 27 (Lifesitenews.com)  Last week, Australia’s Sunday Herald Sun exposed a scheme by the California-based Centre for Surrogate Parenting and Egg Donation’s scheme to sell mail-order embryos.  The company advertises on the internet, offering profiles of women who have donated their eggs for the transaction. Customers are asked to mail in sperm for fertilization and are promised frozen embryos in the mail for a fee of up to $4,000 (US). Pro-life and religious leaders in Australia reacted with horror to the sale of these “most vulnerable human beings.”

OTTAWA, May 27 (Lifesitenews.com) –  The Christian Heritage Party warned in their latest communiqué, about a suspected foreign takeover of Canadian news services. OTTAWA, May 26 (LSN) – Finance Minister Paul Martin once again pushed for a one-world financial system at the Asia-Pacific Economic Co-operation (APEC) meeting last Sunday. SCORES OF STUDENTS ARRESTED IN M.A.I. PROTEST

MONTREAL, May 26 (LSN) – Nearly 100 students were arrested yesterday in a protest against Canada's involvement in the Multilateral Agreement on Investment (MAI).
