BC PREMIER MAKING ABORTION AN ELECTION ISSUE

Boasts of His Extreme Pro-Abortion Stand VANCOUVER, Feb 28, 2001 (LSN.ca) – In a half-hour paid TV broadcast yesterday, British Columbia NDP Premier Ujjal Dosanjh laid out his platform for the soon to be announced provincial election. During his speech, Dosanjh boasted about his militantly pro-abortion record. “Another fundamental issue to me is protecting a woman’s right to make her own decisions about her body and about abortion. Our government helped make a woman’s right to choose a reality. We must never go back to the days a decade ago when politicians imposed their personal, anti-abortion values on women,” he […]

LIBERAL LAWS TO BLAME FOR 43% RISE IN IRISH ABORTIONS

DUBLIN, Ireland, Feb 28, 2001 (LSN.ca) – Abortion statistics reported in Ireland demonstrate the dismal failure of a 1995 abortion related law supposedly aimed at reducing abortions. The statistics showed that there were 4,921 Irish women reported traveling abroad to abort their babies in by September 2000, compared to 3,444 for the same period in 1999. The Pro-Life Campaign blamed the results on liberal legislation enacted in 1995 known as the Abortion Information Act. “The Act which made it legal to provide the names and addresses of abortion clinics and for clinics to advertise in Irish newspapers has singularly failed […]

ST JOHN, NS, Feb 27, 2001 (LSN.ca) – A Halifax couple is seeking to overturn a Supreme Court decision that denied public funding of their in-vitro fertilization treatment. WASHINGTON, Feb 27, 2001 (LSN.ca) – Abortion proponents in South Carolina were fuming Monday when the U.S. Supreme Court rejected the pleas of the four main abortionists in the state. The abortionists attempted to paint the state’s requirement that they and their facilities live up to safety regulations as an “anti-abortion” initiative. The abortionists will not be able to perform abortions until they meet the new licensing requirements. They have requested a delay in the implementation of the rules, allegedly to give them time to meet the requirements. The abortionists must now conform to a 27-page rule-book which was to […]

ABORTED BABY BRAINS TRANSPLANTED INTO MICE

SAN FRANCISCO, Feb 27, 2001 (LSN.ca) – California biotechnology company StemCells Inc. has announced that mice have replicated human brain cells. Neural stem cell research seeks to cure diseases such as Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s and uses for the most part the human brain cells of aborted babies, sorting them to discover stem cells and injecting those into the brains of mice. While the media is rife with stories of mice with human brains most do not even mention the aborted babies required for this macabre experimentation.
