AMERICANS FAVOUR PARENTAL NOTIFICATION AND END TO PARTIAL-BIRTH

WASHINGTON, Oct 20 (LSN.ca) – In the US, a Zogby poll released today noted 66% (26.3% against) of Americans are in favour of legally requiring doctors to notify parents when minors seek abortions. Interestingly, the majority results remained regardless of political affiliation with 86.1% of Republicans agreeing as well as 51.6% of Democrats and 61.2% of independents. POLICE IN MEXICO RAID ABORTUARY

LAS CASAS, Oct 19 (LSN.ca) – Going on a complaint filed by the Mexican pro-life group Pro Vida, Mexican police raided the Marie Stopes International clinic Tuesday according to reports by Associated Press. A doctor and nurse were released after ten hours and both denied committing any abortions. Dr. Jesus Vazquez Hernandez, spokesman for the clinic, claims it only encourages “birth control” in Mexico where abortion is illegal. SAN JOSE, Oct 18 (LSN.ca) – In a decision made public in March, the reasons for which only became public October 11, the highest Constitutional Court in Costa Rica ruled that in-vitro fertilization is unconstitutional.
