NEW ALLEGATIONS OF HUMAN RIGHTS ABUSES IN CHINA

NEW YORK, Feb 25 (LSN) – On Monday, Associated Press reported on the horrific story of the attempt by two alleged Chinese officials to sell kidneys, corneas, livers, skin,  pancreases and lungs of their executed prisoners in the United States. Cheng Yong Wang,  41, and Xingqi Fu, 35, were arrested Friday in Manhattan. CANADIAN GENERAL NOT ALLOWED TO TELL TRUTH ABOUT UN

ARUSHA, Tanzania, Feb 25 (LSN) – Canadian Major General Romeo Dallaire, the leader of the UN peacekeeping force in Rwanda, took the stand today in the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda. Dallaire was summoned as an expert witness by lawyers representing Jean-Paul Akayesu, a former small-town mayor accused of genocide and crimes against humanity in the deaths more than 2,000 Tutsis. Canadian government to Re-introduce restrictions onreporductive Technologies

OTTAWA, Feb 25 (LSN) – Federal Health Ministry spokesman Doris Cook said yesterday that the government is planning to re-introduce laws and regulations to ban or restrict certain new reproductive and genetic technologies, before the end of the year. The first attempt at such regulation, Bill C-47, containing among other things bans on human cloning and on the sale of eggs and sperm, died when parliament was dissolved for the 1997 federal election. ABORTIONIST TO FACE TRIAL FOR MURDER

LOS ANGELES, Feb 24 (LSN) – Abortionist Bruce Saul Steir, 66, was ordered Wednesday to stand trial on a charge of second-degree murder by Riverside County Judge Dennis McConaghy.  Steir was arrested at his home in San Francisco last October for the murder of Sharon Hamptlon, 27, of Barstow, who bled to death shortly after Steir aborted her last December 13. The medical examiner concluded that Hamptlon died of gross negligence and ruled the death a homicide. Hampton left behind her 3-year-old son Curtis. Steir is free on bail and will be arraigned in court on March 11.

TARGETING CHILDREN FOR HOMOSEXUALITY

SASKATCHEWAN, Feb 24 (LSN) – The University of Saskatchewan’s College of Education will be hosting a March 21 conference advocating the acceptance of homosexuality by schools.  Speaking at the event, entitled “Breaking the silence: Gays and lesbians in our schools,”  will be homosexual activist Delwin Vriend. WASHINGTON, Feb 23 (LSN) – Yesterday, the US Pro-Life Infonet reported that ABC News author David Phinney attacks pro-lifers in a piece concerning new methods of domestic and international terrorism.
