NEW YORK, Nov 20 (LSN)  CBS has announced plans to give American killer Jack Kevorkian free publicity by broadcasting coverage of one his killings (otherwise known as assisted suicides). The broadcast is planned for this Sunday. Kevorkian will be interviewed by Mike Wallace of “60 Minutes.” No plans have been announced for making this a regular feature on CBS, though that might depend on the kind of audience the gruesome show attracts. The Associated Press noted that “the segment will be aired on the last Sunday of broadcasting’s November ‘sweeps’ period, where TV ratings are watched closely to set local advertising rates.” Jack Kevorkian boasts of having helped over 100 people kill themselves.
