CALGARY, Apr 15 (Lifesitenews.com) – It seems some people believe the debate over chemical abortion methods in Canada is over. An article in yesterday’s Calgary Herald said that the Alberta College of Physicians and Surgeons will decide Friday whether to restrict permission to administer abortion drugs to doctors in abortuaries and hospitals equipped to carry out surgical abortions. Since surgical intervention is considered necessary in cases where the drugs fail, the College is concerned that private doctors’ offices are not equipped to handle possible complications.

Calgary abortionist Ted Busheikin has applied to the College for permission to use the methotrexate and misoprostol drug-induced abortion method.  The Health Minister’s office did not return calls from LifeSite today checking on the legal status of chemical abortion in Canada.
