CHINA MUSCLES OUT OF UN HUMAN RIGHTS CENSURE

UNITED NATIONS, Apr 19 (LifeSiteNews.com) – Yesterday China successfully used threats of trade sanctions in order to avoid a UN human rights censure sponsored by the United States. The Times reports that Beijing persuaded 21 impoverished nations to vote for “no-action” on a US resolution at the UN Human Rights Commission in Geneva.  Western diplomats have accused China of economic blackmail. Apart from their draconian one-child policy entailing forced abortion and sterilization,  China is under international pressure to relent on its religious persecution.
