OTTAWA, Aug 10 (LSN) – The Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) has invited both Canadians and non-Canadians to give their views on a draft Gender Equality policy, a policy which bases itself on conforming to the dictates of the UN Women’s conference and thus promotes abortion. The current draft of the policy promotes abortion (in couched terms) calling it a result” of successful “gender equality.”  In a chart illustrating “the types of initiatives that can contribute to the achievement of gender equality,” the draft encourages, “Reproductive health programs with appropriate services accessible to all women and men.  To view the draft copy of the Gender Equality document go to
