Invaluable Information Resource for Anyone

LIFESITE, January 31, 2002 (LSN.ca) – The 148 page Campaign Life Coalition (CLC) Abortion Briefing Book for Legislators is now on LifeSite. This is a thorough but also concisely worded compilation of Canadian abortion facts and history, including a section on fetal development, abortion alternatives, abortion myths and a history of abortion-related legislation.

The hard copy of The Abortion Briefing Book is usually presented in a special binder to Canada’s federal and provincial legislators by CLC. It is written and published by the CLC Public Affairs Office in Ottawa. The format has been designed so that busy legislators and their staff can quickly find and easily read quality information on abortion issues. The emphasis is on facts, which are presented in an objective, unbiased and professional manner. The on line version is the most recent Briefing Book update, completed this past December.

The Abortion Briefing Book is also an excellent information resource for teachers, students and anyone else researching the issue. LifeSite has converted the book to Adobe Acrobat format. You must have the free Acrobat Reader installed to view and print the document. The Acrobat Reader is available from https://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html . It is recommended that the most recent version 5 of Acrobat be used. It has excellent features. Acrobat permits very efficient navigation through long documents and easy printing of individual pages or a range of pages. There is a handy bookmark section of all headings. As well, the beginning index has instant links from all the titles to the corresponding pages in the document.

The Abortion Briefing Book is located at https://www.lifesitenews.com/clc/documents/abortionbriefingbookdec2001.pdf

Printed versions of this very useful book in a special binder may be purchased from the CLC Public Affairs office for school libraries, to give to your local politicians or for other uses. Call 613-729-0379.
