WASHINGTON, DC, Jan 21 (LifeSiteNews.com)  A federal ban on research involving human embryos has not stopped Clinton’s pro-abortion administration from deciding to fund it. Washington has agreed to provide tax dollars for research on “stem cells” or master cells, research which necessitates the use of tissue from aborted children and human embryos. Pointing to an apparent loophole in the law banning such research, the director of the National Institute of Health, Harold Varmus, says scientists using private funding culled the stem cells – enough of them for research purposes.

“Today’s announcement … is the latest step by the Clinton administration to treat human beings as property to be manipulated and destroyed,” said Rep. Chris Smith, R-N.J. “NIH money will allow researchers to experiment with cells obtained from human beings ruthlessly killed in the first weeks of life.”
