CLONING OF HUMANS A STEP CLOSER
BOSTON, Jan 19 (LSN) – At a research meeting today, scientists from the University of Wisconsin- Madison reported the successful cloning of five diff erent species. Using cow’s eggs as incubators, the researchers cloned sheep, pigs, rats, cattle and rhesus monkeys. Thus far the pregnancies resulting from the cloned animal embryos have all resulted in miscarriages.
