Dear LifeSiteNews.com Readers,
From time to time we get comments from readers about “all the bad news” that is depressing and maddening or scary and worrying.
That is one perspective in response toÂsome of the most important developments in the life and family battle the world over. However, there is another, more productive and more life giving perspective.
Many readers see these reports as giving opportunities for action and initiating much needed change. We are all, in our own way, soldiers or activists, or alternatively just passive observers,Âin this battle to restore a culture of life. We are praying, lobbying, donating, teaching, writing, speaking and giving example to protect the right to life of unborn children, and of the integrity of the family.
Take the example of the University of Missouri student in our top story today. She was downgraded, humiliated and persecuted for her Christian pro-family stand. Rather than becoming depressed, she took action. Her stand and courage was aided by the good men and women at the Alliance Defense Fund, and also by many of you who wrote to the university to express concerns. There is a victory we can all rejoice in – and there have been many more as a result of LifeSiteNews.com stories.
So take heart, rather than fear or discouragement, trust in God and in the truth and do whatever you can in response to any of the stories to which you feel you might in some way positively respond, if even just by praying or forwarding the story on to others or, by sending a donation to LifeSiteNews.com.
For life,
