Today’s story about the horrific treatment of a young Brazilian pastor for spanking his children appears to be yet another sign of the anti-Christian hatred increasing around the world. It is crucial that citizens from everywhere demand that the judge and others responsible for this great injustice be held fully accountable and that Jeremias Rocha be given justice and every help to try to restore his mental health.
The Catholic bishops of the Philippines are incredible. They really “get it” about the evil of population control measures the West is trying to impose on their nation. This is THE number one social justice issue in the world.
And yet, few bishops conferences and other religious leaders in the rest of the world, but especially in the developed nations, have the same comprehension of the gravity of the push for contraception, abortion, explicit sex-ed and acceptance of alternative sexual lifestyles. The Philippines bishops know that this will destroy their culture, their religious heritage, their nation and many lives, like nothing else – even war – would destroy them. They need our support and prayers.
Our people and our religious leaders must also wake up – before it is far too late.
