Dear Readers,
Two opinion pieces have generated a lot of interest in the past few days. I would urge you, if you have not yet had the chance, to read them. One is “Death Wish: The Impending Suicide of a Once Great Nation” By Rev. John A. Corapi (https://www.lifesitenews.com/ldn/2008/jul/08071404.html) and the other is “Why Is the Pro-Life Movement So Christian, and Should it be?” by John Jalsevac (https://www.lifesitenews.com/ldn/2008/jul/08071510.html).
Fr. Corapi very bluntly warns of the great danger the U.S. and really most of the West is now in. John Jalsevac brings to the surface an issue that has been festering among some vocal activists within the Canadian pro-life movement. Both are well worth pondering.
The U.S presidential race is still a very messy one from the moral issues perspective. What do those who love life and family do? McCain is said to be clearly preferable to Obama but many Americans would rather McCain be replaced, even at this late stage, with someone far more committed to traditional American moral principles.
Like the Brazilians, Ecuadorians are fighting the influence of the powerful international de-population elites upon their government. Big money promises are always behind these developments in which politicians sell their nation’s soul. Opponents just might be able to stop the adoption of the new constitution with its radical social engineering measures. Contact the embassies listed to help bring international pressure on the legislature.
McDonalds has revealed an astonishing commitment to the gay agenda and hostility to families who disagree with their position. Who would ever have believed this could happen? We suspect the family dependent hamburger behemoth will be in for a surprise as the boycott continues to build.
The huge grassroots pro-marriage movement in California is a wonderful example to the rest of nation. Californians are by no means mostly left-wing, drug consuming, sex swinging radicals. There are numerous Californians who understand the great value of true marriage and stable family life and are willing to fight to defend such a life. Everyone should do what they can to support them.
We have been asked to encourage Americans and citizens of other nations to sign the Canadian petition calling for the national award to abortionist Henry Morgentaler be revoked. Please consider doing so and forwarding it to many others encouraging them also to sign. The petition will be presented to Canada’s Prime Minster and Governor General (representative of the Queen) who is responsible for giving this highest of Canadian awards. See the petition at https://www.ipetitions.com/petition/MorgentalerAmerican/
