Surprise, surprise. Joe Biden lied during his debate with Sarah Palin. He actually does support gay ‘marriage’ but pretended to be against it in order to neutralize the political cost of disagreeing with Palin on the issue. At least that is what his comments on Monday on the Ellen show appear to indicate.
More on organ donations today. There is a very serious problem with the organ donation industry that must be faced and addressed. The public and all organ recipients and organ donors and their families have for years been denied the truth about what really goes on when organs are removed. Thankfully some courageous doctors have had enough and are speaking out about the unethical practices involved in organ harvesting.
We have been saying it for years. The day of reckoning of many years of abortion and declining birth rates must eventually come. It is now upon us and it is huge. Yes, the United States and most developed nations have had a massive economic hit recently, in part caused by demographic collapse, but much more is yet to come as the percentage of aged continues to increase.
Communist China is yet to experience its reckoning and we predict the consequences of its ruthless, enforced one-child policy will be the worst economic and social collapse of all. That is simply natural law. That is, a nation cannot so callously defy the natural order of life on such a gigantic scale and expect to avoid eventually suffering nature’s consequences.
Yet another US Catholic bishop speaks out forcefully on abortion and politicians. Bishop Arthur Serratelli actually compares Obama to King Herod. My goodness, we are getting to the point where this appears it might become the norm for Catholic bishops to be speaking as the faithful and courageous prophets that we have always needed them to be. Pinch me, I have to be sure I am not dreaming. Seriously though, we should all be encouraging them and thanking God.
The Proposition 8 battle in support of traditional marriage is incredible to watch. This could be a great victory or a serious national loss for marriage and family. Appeals for support of the Proposition 8 campaign are going out to Americans across the United States. The opposition is intense and extremely well funded. Once again, prayer and then supportive action are being encouraged.
