(LifeSiteNews) — A left-wing congresswoman and critic of Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s push to ensure vaccines are safe did not disclose she has a vested interested in more shots being sold.
Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) has fashioned herself into a social media star by going on rants against Republican leaders.
She also has been critical of efforts by vaccine safety advocates – although she did not properly disclose that she owns stocks in Johnson & Johnson and AstraZeneca, two Big Pharma companies that presumably stand to lose money if fewer people are coerced into getting jabbed.
Rep. Crockett is also a significant shareholder in a marijuana business, something left off several required financial disclosure documents she was supposed to file as a candidate.
“Twenty-five undisclosed stocks in Crockett’s portfolio include her ownership of shares in Amazon, Johnson & Johnson, AstraZeneca, General Motors, Uber, DuPont, ExxonMobil, American Airlines, AT&T, Aurora Cannabis, Ford, and ‘Corporate Cannabis,’ and ‘Stocks Worldwide,'” the Washington Free Beacon reported on Monday. The news outlet noted it is possible she no longer owns the stocks.
Crockett has used her platform to criticize RFK Jr. and his supporters.
“RFK Jr. should’ve never been confirmed, and he’s proven that every day since,” she wrote on X in September.
“Children are literally dying from measles because of his lies and reckless anti-vax agenda,” she claimed. “He is a threat to our health and our democracy. Public office has no place for deadly, deranged delusion. It’s past time for him to resign.”
She also accused RFK of “play[ing] politics with people’s lives” when he removed all the members of the CDC vaccine advisory committee, who often rubber-stamped Big Pharma’s agenda.
Crockett also accused Texas Republican leaders of being hypocrites by opposing COVID shot mandates while supporting laws that protect innocent preborn babies from being killed in the womb. Crockett supports COVID vaccine mandates, which notably would enrich her due to her stock holdings.
“They say it infringes upon their freedom if the government mandates that they wear their masks or if the government mandates they get a vaccine,” she said in 2021, as reported by Newsweek. “I don’t know what country they come from because the one that I grew up in, I couldn’t go to school until I got what I call my shots. We had to have vaccinations to go to school when I was a little girl. So it’s always been that way.” Crockett was born in 1981 – when she began school there were far fewer required shots than there are now.
“We’re talking about saving lives,” she continued. “We’re talking about wearing a mask as a minimally invasive measure to save a life, right? But we’re going to tell women, women and girls, that no matter what they’ve got to carry a fetus,” she said.
Crockett also stands to benefit from the legalization of cannabis and marijuana, something she has championed while in Congress. The left-wing Democrat “maintains personal ties to the cannabis business through Black Diamond Investments, a firm she reported as owning in her latest congressional financial disclosure,” the Free Beacon reported.
The company applied to sell pot in Ohio, the news outlet noted.
