OTTAWA, Feb 11 (Lifesitenews.com)  In the House of Commons Tuesday, pro-life MP Maurice Vellacott (Wanuskewin, Ref.) reminded MP’s of his conscience legislation introduced last month. Vellacott remarked that the law would protect the rights of health care workers to refuse to participate in abortion or euthanasia. The MP noted that there have been cases where nurses “have been forced out of jobs for choosing not to participate in abortion procedures or acts of euthanasia.”

The bill must be drawn from a hat or else supported by 100 MP’s in order to go before the House.  Supporters are encouraged to contact their MP to draw his/her attention to the bill and to encourage him to sign on to the bill.
