TORONTO, Sept 13 (LifeSiteNews.com) – The famed western conservative magazines Alberta, Western and B.C. Report will consolidate and go national this October with an all-Canada edition that will be sold initially in Ontario. The new biweekly newsmagazine to be called “The Report” will debut October 25, 1999, with Ted Byfield the founder of the magazines retaining his post as anchor columnist. Mr. Byfield has taken on the chairmanship of the revamped board of directors of the United Western Communications Ltd. which ran the magazines. Ted’s son Link Byfield will replace his father as president of the firm.
